Housekeeper is one of the many role-playing subclasses in Elder Tale.
Overview[]
The Housekeeper subclass enables a player to cover all types of household chores like cleaning, arranging items, managing a house or cooking. They get the same skills as a Cook or a Tailor but with the level reduced to 1/6 of the actual subclass level, decreasing its effectiveness in single tasks. They have the ability to clean and carry out small repairs, which can make the maintenance cost of a purchasable zone (meaning private zones or guild halls) decrease.
A consequent part of Landers work as Housekeepers, be it landlords, housewives or inn employees, as the subclass is relative to daily life. Their number can go from a half a dozen in villages to hundreds in cities. Because they can be hired to take care of facilities, it is a pretty unpopular choice among Adventurers.
Like for many subclasses, a player will have to complete a subclass-changing quest to become a Housekeeper, but this one is fairly easy, only consisting of running some errands.[1]
Not to be mistaken with the Maid or Housewife/Househusband subclasses; the latter can learn low-level skills from the Chef, Tailor, Farmer, Brewer, Dairy Farmer, Housekeeper and Herbalist subclasses.
